124: work and just have a peaceful day at

125: work I witnessed people positions of

128: power of just yelling at co-workers in

130: front of other people demeaning them

132: making sexual comments when the

134: environment is like that at the top

136: level it really does trickle down to

137: every facet of the workplace like I

141: actually found myself becoming a bit

143: toxic as well

144: I had a bit of a mental breakdown I

147: think bullying can be so detrimental and

150: can be so Sinister because it can be

152: just even those little comments that are

154: meant to chip away at your self-esteem

156: and your self-worth and I think that's

158: where it starts to get really dangerous

161: I was bullied at work myself

164: and it went on for about two years

167: before I actually felt able to do

170: anything about it

177: and ultimately I had to walk away

180: because my health suffered so enormously

183: as a result the pressure The Strain the

188: extra mental health issues that I

191: suffered really escalated during that

193: formal process

199: trying to speak to somebody in

200: confidence preferably somebody's senior

208: make sure that those conversations

210: happen early on about which behaviors

213: are acceptable and which are not

218: there's usually a formal grievance

221: policy that you can follow to escalate

223: your concerns and have them investigated

225: but sometimes that might not be the

228: right option for the employee in terms

229: of their health you've got to put your

231: health first and only you know what's

233: best for your health don't be afraid to

242: they do need to seek some legal advice

255: which means it's very difficult to bring

258: a case unless you do have a psychiatric

260: injury whereas harassment cases can be

287: bit more protection for people who want
