20: and I saw, over the course of growing up,

29: some of the worst behavior in terms of discrimination

37: that literally would make me sick.

41: And I always felt that Kennedy,

48: that Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King,

51: did an incredible amount for the whole world.

56: And they didn't solve it, because it's not solved today,

62: but they moved, they moved things forward in a major way.

67: And not just for people in the United States

70: but for people, I think, all over the world.

74: And they knowingly risked their lives for it,

78: that it meant that much to them.

82: And, both of them, I think, if we were to have had

84: the privilege of talking to them the day before they died,

88: they knew they were doing it.

90: It's not that it snuck up on them

93: and they weren't aware that there were nuts out there

96: that wanted to take them out.

100: And they kept on anyway, and I think

107: that is just so incredibly impressive to me

111: that someone would care that much to do it.

116: And so, that's why.

118: I have three photos in my office.

122: Two are of Kennedy and one is King,

126: that's the only photos I have in my office.

128: I look at them every day.

131: And I think they're incredible role models for all of us,

138: incredible role models,

139: and that's not a political statement,

140: that's just a statement about treating people fairly

145: and so forth.
